    Couldn't agree more! It's been sliding since I first started some 14 years ago, probably long before that too and I don't see it getting any better with more an more cuts and the MoJ's belief they have other schemes that will save money without looking at the functionality and practicality of the system. Maybe instead of contact centre calling they should have a bank of scanners and all post is dealt with on the day it's received! Now that would be sensible. After all the lawyers are expected to deal with it all in a timely fashion and comply with the directions! The system currently makes for a real uphill struggle on occasions just battling the admin.
    I am a qualified solicitor and am happy to try and assist informally, where needed.
