VT'd now Skoda want the excess mileage paid!
we have recently done this and the car has been return to BCA. The car was in great condition and we did not sign anything on pick up.
we where 3 years into the PCP of a 3yr 6mnth contract. Skoda said that we had not reached the 50% as you have to take in the balloon figure. So we paid the short fall of £870 to finish the contract. Whilst doing this they advised that there was an excess mileage charge of £240. We where on a 8000 miles pa but was slightly over.
They are now demanding payment in the next 10 days!
The question is,
Will I be required to pay this after VT'ing?
Will it affect my credit rating?
