I was awarded pip 2 years ago but I've recently been diagnosed with spinal stenosis (as well as Mutiple Sclerosis) and now been refused pip 0 points. The report is an absolute joke, saying I could do all the things the Hp asked but she never asked me to do anything..they also asked wrong Gp surgery for info, and never asked neurologist or the right Gp for info..help??

    Re: Pip refused

    hi and welcome.
That must have been devastating news for you.

Your first step has to be to appeal to DWP for a mandatory reconsideration.
Write explaining why you think the decision is wrong, backing it up with, if possible, supporting letters from your doctor and consultants.
There is a time limit for requesting the reconsideration.

Remember that DWP staff are incentivesed to reject 80 percent of mandatory reconsideration. But supply as much extra information as you can.
