  • Paying a dvla fine in installments

    Hi,

I SORNED my car and received notification via email, but I did not move it off road.

The car was clamped by the DVLA and then towed away to thier depot.

The car was disposed by the DVLA because I could not afford to pay the clamping removal fee and the surety
fee as I'm on benfits and the car would cost to much to repair.

I have received a letter from them dated 01/06/17 saying I have to pay a fine of £80 by the 18/06/17 or they will take me to court

They say they will not accept installments. I cannot afford to pay in one go as I'm on benfits, but I could do it on installments.

They said on the letter if I contact them quoting the registration mark of the vehicle.

    How should I proceed.

    Many thanks

    Mr Smuggles
