        Hi M1,

photographic evidence has now been received of the parking violation.

the images show that the parking ticket was issued at 6.59am, there is a sign at the peel centre which clearly states the car park opens at 8.30am - therefore I would assume 8.30am onwards is when you pay for parking?

There are more than 1 sign that shows this.

Should the fine be paid or should a picture be sent?

Ask for the PCN. Keeper liability is your friend but it's harder to argue without the evidence.

                Hi M1

I have just sent you an image of the parking signs regarding this.

The main sign with the tariffs have recently changed as they increased them in april.

As you can see the sign states the car park opens at 8.30am

                  Hi M1

i have asked for the PCN, what is the next step if they are unable provide it? Or if they do provide it?
As mentioned there are signs all over confirming the car parks opening hours, can this be used to appeal?

If they refuse there really isn't much you can do but keep asking. It's up to a judge to see the efforts you've made and decide how to punish them (usually in costs).

The car park wasn't open is not a defence, in fact they'll probably make a big deal of the fact the vehicle shouldn't have been there and that'll influence some judges.

if the refuse to give me the PCN after a few occasions am I best just paying?

Im annoyed I'm expected to pay £160 when no opportunities to appeal or anything where given, I'd be happy to pay the initial £60 if anything to get them off my back.

I expect this this wouldn't be accepted?

It is unlikely to cost much more to contest it but it is hard to guess without the pcn, signs etc. It's also unlikely they'll accept £60.

                              Hi,

I have been told they do not need to provide the PCN until it goes to court and that they are under no legal obligation to keep sending evidence. And only when it goes to court will they provide all the time dated correspondence regardless to if I have received it.

they also said they have bent over backwards to help me and all I am doing now is simply avoiding the matter.

to which I wold them, that's not true and I have responded to all correspondence/messages I have been sent.

They also said the 'fine' is now in the correct name - yet I have receive no information or letters regarding this.

they have said they are passing it over for court action and to wait for the summons??

                              What should I do?

Also - the last 2 conversations they haven't asked me to confirm my full name just address/post code.

I would assume this is against data protection, is this correct?
