  • MET Parking Services

I have received a "Parking Charge Notice Reminder" from MET Parking Services dated 7 Feb, incident (McDonalds E11) 13 December 2016
Nothing has ever been received prior to this nor are any timings of my infringement quoted... We are now 2 weeks after the 7 day notice for "recovery and debt collection"
and it states that POPLA is no longer available.

When I attempt to locate the ticket on MET Parking website it tells me that they are unable to locate on the www.metreview .com appeal section

Are we too late to appeal, do we pay the £100 (a very expensive Mcdonalds) any advice would be appreciated

    thanks

    Re: MET Parking Services

I would write to Met and say this is the 1st you, as registered keeper, have heard of the matter and you would like to appeal. They'll say no but better to get the non receipt of the original on record.

I would then keep everything safe that ever arrives and dig it out if you ever get a court claim. At the moment Met do not like court. http://www.bmpa.eu/companydata/MET_P..._Services.html

Also, in an attempt to get rid of it quickly, i'd speak to the McD management and social media teams and express my disappointment and hope they cancel. (rare but has worked sometimes)

I do prefer email though, as it's cheaper and not so easy to convince someone it didn't arrive (although you went really expensive and sent recorded)
