  • PCN ParkingEye Barnet Hospital. - won

    Hi all,

Hope somebody here can help me.
I just got a PCN from ParkingEye for £100 (£60 discounted) for the day I attended an appointment at Barnet hospital: I paid 3 hours and exposed the ticket clearly, however, the consultant put drops on my eyes that dilated my pupils and I had to wait 46min more until I could see enough to drive safely. In total I stayed 3.46 hours but just paid 3hours. I couldn't see the machine keyboard to pay more and was dizzy to leave the parking with those drops.

Do you think there is any hope for me if I appeal and if it is how to do it?

I would certainly contact the patient and liason service too.

      Thank you M1,

I have contacted the PALS service and they are sending me a form to fill out. I will update the outcome of this process for benefit of others here.
      Many thanks again

I sent out the form attaching the documents supporting my case, (hospital's appointment letter, parking receipt and PCN letter) and explaining my situation to the email at NHS asking for advise BEFORE submitting appeal to ParkingEye. They immediately replied letting me know that having reviewed the circumstances surrounding the PCN received they will instruct cancellation.
Notice...BEFORE I appealed, this was directly done by NHS.

I am very grateful with this site that gave me the clue to start my process and specially thankful with M1.

Hope I am helping somebody else here.

        Regards.
