    If you are not actually parked on a "yellow line" but next to it, How does that work? Can our enslavers still issue a pcn?

    Sadly you are bang to rights. The area covered by DYL's extends from the centre of the carriageway to the property boundary including any pevements and verges.

        Key case is Dawood, who parked his scooter on a section of pavement that he owned:

        SYL and DYL's applies to “any length of highway or of any other road to which the public has access” by virtue of section 142 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
