    Re: Scam alert

Received another scam the other day concerning the government initiative to improve home security over the Christmas period. Various hints and tips and then a warning about how burglaries in the area, according to police reports, had increased sharply recently and were expected to increase further over Christmas... And would I like to sign up for a security survey for their remote system that will inform the police if a burglar is attempting to enter the property. Advanced Intelligence Security 0333 567 0521. Timed for daytime calls so that it will put the fright on pensioners.

Doing a number lookup reaches a page that one recipient of the call praised how good the service is and it has already stopped a burglary after only 2 weeks.
