    That letter seems reasonable enough. You're giving them an opportunity to identify any debt they believe is owed.

    They may try harder now that you've told them it's their last chance to make a claim on the estate. Perhaps adding a reasonable deadline for their response would make sense.

    You (and your sister) may want to take out executors liability insurance in case any claims are made after probate or any legal issues raise their ugly head. You can read about that here > https://www.ft.com/content/5fb29342-...0-00144feab49a

    If you get any claims then you should check they are 'enforceable' before paying them. If they're Statute Barred then you should not have to pay them.

    I would also go a stage further and send a s 77-79 CCA Request to any claims made for credit cards and/or loans which are not SB. If they're not enforceable in court when you're alive then they're not enforceable when your dead either.

      As well as PPI check the loans for life insurance. It is possible that there may be money due to the estate.
