  • Anyone available to have a quick look at this?

Hi Always feel a bit bad when I ask for things on forums that I cant really contribute back to, so very much appreciated if someone can have a look at this today...

Received this letter (see attached) on Friday and I'm a bit dubious on signing it as normally they leave plenty of time to respond to letters but this time they want a physical reply to be received back to them by tomorrow. This leaves no time to consult a solicitor with it. Their last claim was dismissed and I have applied to have the original Claim Set Aside of which is due to be heard this Wednesday coming. I'm reading the agreement as a settlement however I'm not sure what I am settling? Am I settling the fact that we agree to set it aside or are we agreeing that they are no longer going to try and pursue the overall claim? FYI XXXXXXXX was a charging order claim on our house.

    Many Thanks in advance

    Chris & Faye

Good morning Chris & Faye, apologies for the late reply!"

This is straight forward the claim has been dismissed and the CO goes once you have signed and returned the consent order.

I would expect the set aside hearing to be vacated although this is short notice.
