      Re: MET - Gatwick... again!

      Hi,

Just an update, I've now received the a letter from DRP (Debt Recovery Plus) demanding £150.00.

Anyone had any dealings with these people?

      Thanks,
      Richard.

Loads. Some chicken out and pay, others have more sense.

          Hmm,

          I see, so just ignore?

It says they used some address database to find my last known address, which is actually a really old address! (the owner of said address knows me, we live in a small village and he passed it on to me) so I'm not sure if I should give them my correct address?

How much power do DRP have?

Worth my contacting MET and offering to pay the original £50?

I would. Keep everything though. Don't ignore court papers either.

I would. keep a copy of emails that you send too, in case they ever try something dodgy like sending court papers to an old address. Although they don't do court just now, they may change tack in the future. ( MET that is, not DRP)

            Less than a junior disprin.

If you'd be happy to pay £50 then yes. I'd rather burn £50.

              Thanks M1!

              I'll see what happens.

              You've been a great help.
