  • Parking Fine Earl Haig Hounslow

Hi I have received a parking fine for stopping in a car park which is the property of Earl Haig and there was a driver in the vehicle the entire time. My mum is 65 she could not understand the signage and how the parking worked and went into the Earl Haig to ask the question and they said the car park they have does not charge, so when she came out, we came out of the car park straight away. The time of penalty was 14:07 and left at 14:25 and we did not park here and if it is property of the Earl Haig that should mean if you visit the Earl Haig pub there should be no charges and I have an email from the pub to confirm that someone had gone into the pub at the time and this was because of the confusion of where we could park.

The driver did not see any signs and sent someone in to make enquiries with the pub regarding the parking before deciding not to accept the terms and leave.

If you've already put in a popla appeal, you will need to wait for the outcome of that. What did you write in your appeal?

Hi kate, I wrote that there was a driver in the car and my mum went in to find out about the parking and she couldn't understand the signage and how it says earl haig property which is the name of the pub. What do you think the outcome will be and how long does it take?

Sometimes it takes a few weeks and sometimes they pull out within a few days of receiving a decent appeal.
