  • Natwest overdraft Statute Barred question - please help!

    Hi

I had an overdraft with Natwest around which I haven't acknowledged since April 2010, was unable to find work when i graduated and stupidly stuck my head in the sand. I moved address and have had no contact, and I think it should be close to Statute Barred.

I'm thinking of sending a SAR to get exact dates, my question is what document do I need to prove the date it was statute barred? From my reading on here it seems overdrafts become statute barred from the date that the bank is able to demand full repayment, so do I need a letter that is demanding full payment or is there something else I need?

    Thanks in advance

Edit: Just realised this is in the welcome forum, have reposted in banks
