  • Re: Dealing with DCA's

    Hi Ladies and Gents

Firstly thanks for all your help so far - I wanted to update on the above - I was the last to post on this thread - my response prior to this was adapted from a template (following your kind advice labman) - and also I have photographed their response.

I am a little confused - the last bit seems like a threat not to mess with them - what are your thoughts guys - should I do anything else or just leave it alone now - they also are still maintaining that I should pay them the money "I owe"

Any feedback greatfully received as always!

    Regards - TimDog

File it away and keep it safely, as it really means that Moneyway (more properly, Secure Trust Bank plc - link) cannot even cobble together a reconstituted "twue copy" of the agreement, let alone produce an exact copy or a photographic image of the agreement. The delay may thus continue until the universe curves back on itself and disappears up its own existence, or until Crapbot assigns the alleged debt to another wunch of bankers.

Really impressed with the advice in this thread, well done Ben.

I have very little knowledge of the intricacies of the CCA for forgive the question; Do these letter templates and advice still apply even now? I have a debt from 07/08 and am now being bombarded with letters from a DCA with no proof as yet.....

        Regards

            Hi

I found this forum and sent the original 'prove it' letter and had a really vague response I think.

The OC sent to the DCA re-constituted copy of the credit agreement which was a blank copy of the terms and and conditions and the cancellation rights. How does this prove anything? The DCA then says the the account has been terminated with Barclaycard and the full balance of £15,574 is the current outstanding balance and is due and needs to be paid in full.

What at do I do now? Heeeeelp
