  • UKPC tickets issued without just cause #3 and #4

    Hi,

I have also received another 2 x parking charge for 01/01 and 27/01, both of which I do not believe I am parked in a permitted area. The area in question used to be a service yard at the back of the shops (behind my flats) and was indeed patrolled when businesses etc operated there. However the majority of the service yard no longer exists as they are doing regeneration works, and all that remained was one sign from 'UKPC', which can hardly been seen, does not make it clear what 'area' you are allowed to park in, and this is what they are basing their case on. I took pictures of where my car was parked which are date stamped on my phone to show that I believe I was NOT parked in the area that they cover, as said area does not really exist anymore.

    Thanks

I can't read them i'm afraid although for a 1st stage appeal (to the operator) should be straight forward.

      Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver was a genuine customer. (if not then the driver didn't see any signs)

It is noted that your notice to keeper is fundamentally flawed when compared to PoFA 2102 schedule 4 para 9.

Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

      Yours etc

If/when you get a popla code please let me know.

No it'd either be The driver was a genuine customer OR The driver didn't see the signs. It's more important not to lie than what it actually says. Anything does for that sentence, really.

Ok I went with the driver was a genuine customer...hope that was ok! And left the red part out. The signage was so poor that you had to really look around for it anyway.

              Hi there,

I have received a response to the appeal for original PCN charge on 01/01/16. I will email a copy of it and it can be uploaded for you to view.

They make reference to (yet another) ticket that I sent an appeal in for, which was issued, then when I checked online said it had been cancelled. This is what the second paragraph relates too incase this confuses things.

              Thanks again
