  • Paying a CCJ

    Hi,

Hopefully someone can hlp me with this!

A CCJ was recently made against me, and I have bought another claim against the other party. However, a stay has been placed n my claim until costs of the previous claim have been paid by myself.

Is thee an order for which the components of a CCJ are paid off?

The CCJ against me consisted of:

£1,200 return of a house deposit
    £4,800 damages payment
    £635.00 costs
And now interest is being added daily

If I pay the £635 costs (which I can afford), will my claim be heard? Or will that £635 be considered taken off of the other areas first?
