Re: Lowell Solicitors / Lowell Portfolio / Lloyds Letter of Claim

I would consider that if the genuine default date was when they are claiming, but in my case they have an incorrect date that is out by a number of years. I understand that up to 6 months is acceptable but this is well over that, I am hoping they will send me the original default issued by Lloyds.

Do you think its a good idea to specifically mention the Lloyds default being required rather than just the default as they may send me the default they have incorrectly issued?

    Thanks

I think I'd leave your request as is and possibly get on to Lloyds and ask them if they sent a default notice on your old account and if so when ? Worth an ask. Otherwise you might need to send a subject access request under the data protection act to Lloyds for copies of transaction lists and the default notice - would also show up all the charges on your account which might be helpful later.

I've had the same letter today. I previously sent the template about statement of accounts and credit agreement as above etc. They replied a month later with statement of account and a online agreement I computer signed - just my name typed. I've received the Lowell solicitor letter today the same as above and not sure what my next move is. Default was only 2012.
