Advise regarding a faulty divorce form E (Financial Statement).

    Divorce form E

An error has been identified in the automatic calculator used in a summary table in certain versions of the Form E (Financial Statement) available on the HMCTS Form Finder website. Form E is the means by which parties in divorce, dissolution, nullity or judicial separation proceedings disclose information about their assets and liabilities. The current online version has been corrected and updated.
Following a case review we are writing to those with an identified HMCTS Form E error and whose financial proceedings have concluded, with options on how to proceed. For anyone with current proceedings, we have alerted the court in order to avoid the error affecting the final orders in these cases. Anyone concerned about their own court proceedings should contactformE@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk.
Courts Minister Shailesh Vara updated Parliament on the investigation into the Form E error on 21 January 2016.
