What FP's trying to say is that "Cabot Financial (UK) Ltd" are 'trading' with a lapsed license (see the thread she posted )

You have 14 days to acknowledge service so plenty of time to sleep!

Re: Northampton County Court Claim causing insomnia, please help with simple question

              hi all,
I went for a sleep, but didn't get much.
I'm back, feeling quite stressed and unwell, but this isn't going to do it self.
I went on 'money claim online' to serve acknowledgement of service.
I've somehow managed to lock myself out of the account I registered. Typical of what you do when not feeling well! There was a 12m digit number I had to make a copy of for logging in in future, I thought I had saved it and I hadn't!
Is there any way I can retrieve it or will I have to send my acknowledgement off in the post?
Also, do I tick in the box that I am contesting jurisdiction?

I wouldn't worry, lots of people do it.

I'd just tick the 'intend to defend in full' box and pop it in the post ( recorded). No you don't want to contest jurisdiction.

And really, try not to stress, we'll help you as much as we can xxx ( and don't be worrying about the 3 letter thing, t'is past history)

Re: Northampton County Court Claim causing insomnia, please help with simple question

The 12 digit number you refer to, should be on the claim form itself?
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

                          Hi

Don't panic! You can also acknowledge service by email as stated here:

I have had same problem with missing password on claim form, I phoned Northampton bulk centre and was told they accept a scanned image of the completed document sent as an e-mail attachment,
Send to ccbcdefendants@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk with the claim n'o and acknowledgment of service written in the subject heading.
They also would accept by way of a statement of acknowledgment wrote in the same format as in claim pack. (room for error on this so i completed form and scanned etc)
You will get a confirming e-mail that they have Received almost immediately.
                          Hope this info helps
You'd head the email CLAIM No. xxxxxx - CABOT -v- HUMANBEAN - ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF SERVICE

No, if you live in England and Wales there's no need to contest jurisdiction. :thumb:

Try not to stress, easy for me to say i know but it really is only money and they can't take what you haven't got.

I do hope you don't feel left in limbo, Amethyst and Cel have both answered you . I know when you post on a forum that you want an answer yesterday, I certainly do but most people have jobs, commitments and will get back as soon as they are able . Usually a day will not hurt either way.

                              HI amethyst (and everyone )
I'm ever so grateful you are here to help me!!
my life is so difficult at mo in many ways. Am in Crisis. THANKYOU SO MUCH!

I'm going to give up on serving notice online (am stressed enough and wasn't getting anywhere).
Please. Where do I send acknowledgement of the Service to? Is it the County Court Business Centre address? (addressed to the Court Manager with the claim number). I'll keep proof of postage and send recorded delivery.
if you could confirm that i'll do it first thing in the morning (Then that's one down..!)

Please try not to stress , it is very easy for anyone to say I know but it really is only money

Yes the address is correct but as mentioned you can email it , or even do both. You have 14 + service days from the date to get it to them so no massive panic
