Latest letter:

Dear Kati

I have now received a letter from county collection LTD
It also says my credit rating may be effected,
Additional court fees, interest and legal cost.
This is the letter I was really scared about now I have received it,

Please please can you and you kind team help and advice further.

Regards
Sonu
@Sonu ... I know you are still worried, but honestly there is no need!! Myself and the other Beagles are all here to support you (:bump: for @des8 PAWS and @Celestine )

This latest letter is nothing more than another threatogram designed to scare you into paying. Remember ... RLP's demands are nothing more than a speculative invoice, and the fact they have got a DCA involved just proves (IMO) that they are scraping the bottom of the barrel in an attempt to get money out of you

RLP are the "clients" referred to in this latest letter, and RLP won't take you to court for anything (the shop would have to do that). If there is no court case, your credit rating will not be affected!

Stay strong hun xx

yes, as Kati says just another way of putting pressure on vulnerable people to pay RLP their outrageous demands.
Keep ignoring them, they have no power to do anything other than write scary letters.

If RLP work to their normal pattern you would seem to be coming to the end.
There might be one more letter from the DCA warning they are recommending their client take legal action, followed by RLP begging for a reduced payment just to settle the matter................... and then hopefully silence.

If they were ever going to take court action, they would have commenced by now.
If there's a legitimate debt, no creditor would wait this long and send so many threatening letters, before going to court.

Rest easy and ignore them.

Hello Sonu
As Kati said you are not alone. Not only are you not alone but those supporting you on here are some of the cleverest people in the country. Not only do they know the laws and legislation many have been in the situation you are now in. They not only know what you are going through but will steer you through. Don’t just take my word for it. Put RLP into the search box and have a good read.
People who care will often say they wish they could wave a magic wand and make this all go away. Well, this site might not be a magic wand and no one can ever guarantee anything in this type of situation but if you read through past cases you will discover two things:
1 –The odds are very, very much stacked against RLP. They have lost in the past and do not have a leg to stand on.
2 –In my opinion this site is the closest thing to a magic wand for many people. The only problem is you have to wave it!
RLP bully people with threats. They wear you down until finally, worn out from worry and lack of sleep you cave in and pay them. They are very good at their job so it does not mean you are weak or gullible just because you are fretting. However knowledge is power. When you cannot sleep or when you are fretting just get reading through the success stories on here. These are incredible and will boost you up. Some have won when the odds were totally stacked against them. Some have fought and won when they risked losing everything including the roof over their head.
The main thing is to remember you are not fighting alone and you have access to the finest weapons in the country.

Sonu we all know how hard it is for you not to worry but please forget these morons and their threats.
if some of us on here were faced with this problem we would file the letters under the heading Boglocks if that's the correct spelling

Thank you all
I will ignore theses letters but I will be returning to you all for support as I am scared on my own.
Please stay with me.
Like you said I hope the next letter us the last.
My anxiety starts to kick in just thinking about the silly stupid mistake I made.
I am sorry for what I did .
I just want this all behind me.
And I want to move on not feeling embarrassed and ashamed of what I did

Thank you all

Kind regards

Sonu, you are a grown woman and if this is the worst mistake you have made then I envy you, I really do. You are not a dishonest person; if you were you would not be on here, would be familiar with this process and be waving two fingers in the air at RLP, Debenhams and indeed the postman!!! You are also not a stupid woman. You made a mistake and the consequences (i.e. the effect the letters from RLP are having on you) is totally out of proportion to your actions. - If you think of the anxiety you have experienced over the past months as ‘time served’ you have paid your moral debt –OVERPAID to be honest.
You cannot change what happened and you can only taint the good times ahead by having these ‘Mea culpa’ sessions. Let the guilt go. You are one of the good ‘uns.

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
