    Thanks jon1965.

Should I tell DLC at this stage that PPI has been refunded?

            Hi jon1965.

n response to your thread post yesterday I have received a different threat-o-gram from DLC yesterday where they have changed the debt owner information from BH to Hillesden and given me a further 14 days to respond to stop further letters so the tone has changed a little.

They still have not given me proper clarification who they think owns the alleged debt unless this is meant to be it.

Anyway I'm out all day today so tomorrow I plan to writes a letter to the chief executive of Hillesden suggesting that they take a commercial decision on this and write it off since the PPI has been refunded and they have bought a dud debt. They should take it up with BH not me.

Nemesis45 sent me a template letter for this which looks quite good.

            Thanks

              Hi shimeld,

It seems Jon is " inactive"? I guess the " new" letter is purporting to be a notice of assignment of the debt from BH to Hillesden more than a little late imo.

The letter drafted is one that works well from experience.
