I doubt very much that it has gone through as you have not had an email confirming. Did you actually 'sign' the agreement?

If you are worried just email them telling them what happened and that you do not want to take out the loan

            That was a narrow escape!

I assume you had already provided them with full bank details so if the loan had gone through you'd have the money in your account, have you checked? If the money never reached your account then you wouldn't have had the loan and it shouldn't be on your credit file either.

                Re: What have i done

Might be an idea to check your credit files (Noddle is Free online) to see if Wonga has left a " foot print" e.g. " Credit Application" search.

                  Re: What have i done

Any search won't show up on Noddle yet as it is a bit behind and not really sure if you can get it removed so maybe ignorance is bliss

Correct yes it should ( if there be removed after 6months) Noddle has improved rapidly over the last 6 months or so.

                        Re: What have i done

According to equifax credit searches stay on you file for 12 months and debt collection searches for 2 years.
It seems that \noddle only update your file when they creat a report so if you are already a member any search will only appear next month at the earliest

                          Re: What have i done

So does that mean when my defaults all drop off some of my debts not settled a dca could still leave a trail until SB after 6 years

So it seems but it may not have too much effect on your credit file , it was just a bit of further info
