If you must know how I deal with some of these calls I ask the caller what their mother's maiden name is, followed by religious beliefs and their sexuality.

Works with most but some have remained surprisingly calm recently so I may have to find other ways!

When my daughter's a bit older I want to give her the phone and tell her it's Santa

I've heard some people favour barking dogs, crying babies, screaming kids and household appliances such as blenders... I think that was mostly when dealing with DCAs though. :tinysmile_kiss_t4:

they rang again today, Des will testify I am an emotional powderkeg atm.

He started off with beautiful mornings and hoped I had a wonderful week and i just went mental!

I told him that while he prattled on, I was waiting on a call to tell me if my middle sister had actually had a nervous breakdown or wether it was just emotional exhustion and if he so much as thought about dialling my number once more I would personally write his extension number down and put it on the window of Toys R Us with the words CALL SANTA underneath it and any other calls would be answered with THIS!!

I then put Guns and Roses on as loud as I could get it, welcome to the jungle no less, and put the phone by the speaker! came back a few mins later and he had gone..

if he DOES dare and call me back tomorrow, I have borrowed an ACDC cd off my brother.. I hope he likes Highway to Hell
