Husbands wants everything

Cut a very long story short. I left my home through a abusive relationship and an affair to stay with my parents. I'm now going through divorce. I can't live with my parents as their house is too small. I really want my home back.

My husband has a business equity about 250k plus business value 150k.

Our home is around 350k 300k equity.

I'm happy for him to take the business but I want my home. He wants to buy me out with a offer lower than what I have lived in. I just want to go to my home.

I have evidence from doctors of abuse and people ask me why I left. Which was for my sanity and safety.

I'm in court in September. What are my chances. Kids are grown up and my grown up daughter 25 stays with her dad but she has a boyfriend and moving in with him.

He wants everything and the offer is around 200k

Any help appreciated.

Just giving this a bump for you. I have no idea what your legal rights are but I think the hardest bit was getting the courage to leave and that is behind you now. :clap2:Just hang in there and it will be ok. Remember a home is not just bricks and mortar and it is hard to walk away from something you have built up but you can create that again.:hug:

The worst thing is my daughter has been getting verbally abused by him now. she told me in confidence he threatened her he would smash her face in one day. She is scared of him and would not testify in court but tells me in confidence.

He wants her out of the house to bring his new girlfriend into the house. I want the house back and my life and to be able to live with my daughter in peace. unfortunately she is a grown women herself almost 26. she is my only child and I am scared he may do something. I have no interest in his business however much it is worth. But he wants both.
