  • Which letter next or is it game over?

    Hi guys,
I was put on to this site by a friend of mine after discussing that I was being pursued by Cabot.
I had no idea there were templates available so I sent my own letter stating that I did not recognise or acknowledge the debt until I saw proof (My letter below)
I then received a reply (Their reply below) they also sent a copy of the T&C`s along with Statements from the Credit card company
My question is, yes you`ve guessed, What next? Is there a letter template you could suggest I now send and also would they need an original agreement from the CC company signed by me with my previous address on.
Sorry to just walk in here and ask so many questions but I really do need help
    Thanks in advance
    Dave

Just giving this a bump for you and hopefully someone will be along to give you some sound advice.

Sorry Chippy, I hope I haven’t given this the kiss of death by bumping it! But hey, I have no shame so I will bump it again!

oops - the OFT don't exist anymore... never mind though - their reply is quite standard.

We do need to see the recon agreement though if you can scan that in. Also can you tell us a bit more about the dispute on the debt pls.
