Really not sure about default Date but it's likely. Things messed up for me 07 to 09/10 or thereabouts.

Still no idea how do a pic upload. The site looks really strange from my mobile too. Everything is everywhere and icons on top of each other my phone is about to give up. Haha..
the statement is white a4 paper with printed account number on the top and then shows various transactions from 2008 to 2010

It does have their logo top left hand side so I'm guessing nobody would dare copy it as such

                Hi there

Was this an overdraft statement, if so does the closing balance correspond with the amount claimed?
What was the nature and date of the last entry.
If his is an overdraft the statute bar period comes under section 6 of the legislation and the period starts to run from the date they make demand for payment, not from when they can demand payment as in section 5. (last missed payments etc.)
So in other words it would be from when you received the first letter demanding full repayment of the overdraft.

I have no idea when the demand for payment of OD in full would have been, i remember going through unfair charges with them and being told no chance etc - thinking back i was hoping they may have paid me something to enable me to clear this OD and that be that. i don't recall default notice or any other changes in ownership of my account until recently. How do i go about all this now? I think i have read it isn't the same as a loan/credit agreement but really have no idea what to do next. I have 14 days to reply to them from the date of letter 29.5.15

I am afraid that looking st this a SB claim would fail as the last entry was August 2010.

You say that they are sending letters in your exes name, was the account in his name or was it a joint account ?

It is difficult to know what to advise.

What is your overall financial situation like, are you upto date with priority debts, rent gas water etc, do you have other unsecured debt, also do you rent or own your own home.
