That letter definitely says pay up... Otherwise we are going to sulk.... Apparently their client is a victim of crime.... Wow... They have tried and convicted you too........
The letter seems to have missed an option open to you..... Ignore it.....

Hello. A third letter has now been received - attached below. Any change in advised action?

If I wrote to you saying "Please, please pay me £100 or I shall be upset and have a tantrum and write again to you, and I might even tell someone else all about it" you would in all probability ignore me.
        Do the same to RLP.

Thanks again, always appreciate your words of advice. I await their next one... how long until they really quit this - 10 months of letters every 2/3 weeks?

Sometimes, (although they claim to be specialist debt collectors), in desperation they even pass it over to other lowlife.
It seems to go on for about 6-8 months

Hi Usiaw. I am currently going through the same thing as you, I just wondered if you are still ignoring he letters? I have received my third letter and I am petrified, I don't know whether to give in and write to them informing them about my antidepressants or keep ignoring them. I'm scared I'm going to get taken to court (even though I'm moving out the address they have for me in 2 weeks, I'm scared they will find me and contact me again)

If you are moving out make arrangements with Royal Mail to have your post forwarded to you for the next six months at least.
If you don't and the letters are returned to RLP they could quite likely then commence court proceedings and obtain a CCJ without your knowledge.

Hi Unhappy1, I'm going to follow the advice given by LB users on this and other threads and ignore them. I'll keep track of the letters and possibly post further ones here if they seem particularly menacing.

Please keep us updated on what you plan to do and further action/letters received from them; it's an irritant always in the back of my mind but I'm trying not to worry myself.

No drastic changes as yet. I won't upload everything - it may get tiresome - but if there's something radically different/threatening I'll let the users here on LB know.

They lost the oxford test case last year, as they weren't able to prove actual loss incurred by their client, and secondly the losses they are claiming are for general day to day business operational costs. In other words, they are not a loss incurred as a result of anyone's action as their costs would have been the same as they were even if nothing had been stolen or no theft had taken place - They would have still had to pay the security guards wages.

Been a month since I last attached something, but this letter is offering something new. Headed "WITHOUT PREJUDICE SAVE AS TO COSTS"they say that their client will accept a final settlement of a sum that's 2/3 of what the original claimed amount was. I have 3 weeks to respond.

Letter is attached. What do you all think of this? Is that heading something to seriously heed?

Is this a normal letter to receive at this point?

                                Advised action?
