  • Employer don't want to pay me for last week, one week termination.

    Hello everyone,

My employer don't want to pay me for last week because I quit job without one week termination.
Funny thing is, I called them before everything to check it(it was 12th March), and my superior told me that I shouldn't come to work even tomorrow, "You are off, bye", so that was pretty clear situation for me... So I called company B next day to appoint interview and I told em that I can start working for them immediately. And so it is. Now company A told me that they wont pay me for last week if I wont be there whole next week (15th-20th).

I just started working for comp.A, from 15th March (today) in paperworks, but in practice I started week earlier because they were busy.
I don't think I signed a contract yet.. stupid I know, but that's how it is. Tomorrow I'm going there to figure it out and I want to know what rights I have and if they even can do things like that?
I would be really gratefull for any help.
