Re: Is it allowed? DC solicitor wants to issue court claim

For those who are interested in the conclusion of this thread:
    • Default appeared on credit file Jun 2009 and 'fell off' 01 Jul 2015
    • Debt collector (PRA Group) sent via their solicitor court claim form in Mar 2015 and a Notice of Discontinuance in Aug 2015 (It arrived Wed 12 Aug, two working days before court date of Mon 17 Aug 2015. Talk about cutting it fine eh?)

It appears that PRA Group was determined to tie up my credit file for 12yrs (6yrs default + 6yrs CCJ) but changed their mind.

To the LegalBeagles forum creators and members, I want to say thank you for the posts in this section as they gave me confidence (especially the success cases) and helped me to challenge the court claim.

    Thank you
    :clap2:

Could it be because they couldn't find any paperwork to back up their claim? :mmph:
