Many thanks for the advice, would I send this request to the store or the head office. Not sure how the store would react under the circumstances. I got the impression they were preparing a description of me to circulate as they asked me how tall I was!

        Re: Hello All

If you sent it to the store manager, I believe he would have to send it to the correct dept. although I'm still not sure how much it would actually help you personally. I'd suggest that you held off sending one until you are absolutely sure that it was needed - and put it down to experience

          Re: Hello All

Hello, back for help again I as I have just received the civil recovery letter from Drydens Fairfax only I am upset because it is the second letter, I have not had the first one as they have put the wrong address on them, a different number in my street, so one of my neighbours must have got the first one which I am so embarrassed and upset about. This second one has been round the world too as it still has the wrong adress. It's dated 23rd February and says I have 7 days to pay £85.55 or they will take further action and also contact their client for them to peruse me further too. Panicking please help. They have a phone number should I call about the wrong address?

            Re: Hello All

No phone calls. Write to them denying any debt. Point out that they have been using an incorrect address, potentially making your details available to others and not to make any further contact.

You may care to look up the case of a "Retailer v Ms B and Ms K" which involved RLP and point them at that case.
