he made an order for children to live with grandmother and to have contact with mother but no contact for myself

The Grandmother has got an order from the judge to live with the grandmother. If you want contact then you will need to apply to the courts under section 8 of The Children's Act 1989. In view of what the GM told the court then the judge can only take what he has before him. Is the GM represented by a lawyer? I cannot believe a judge gave an order based on simply the word of the GM.
In that case, please do see the link that MissFM provided in relation to Father's rights. Furthermore, you need to read through your local county council's safeguarding policies with children.

At the heart of all of this is what is in the interests of the children and it is their welfare that is paramount. I think you need to ask the courts for contact but my next question is about how much contact you have had already with the children prior to this incident?

@leclerc I asked the judge for contact allso but he decliened at this time saying that it was paramont that mother had contact.(grandmother is making this very dificult as indicated by ss in court)
I have had lots of contact in the past with me staying over at mothers house and children staying at my house with my other 2 children even spending christmas's here and birthdays the family as a hole are very close.

Re: Help needed grandmother kidnaped children

That is a load of crap because the interests of the children are served by contact with BOTH parents and not just the mother. If GM is being difficult then there should be contact and a local centre on neutral ground which is supervised. You have been given parental responsibility so you have effectively been given the right to apply for contact with YOUR children.

Clearly if the children have had close contact with their stepbrother/stepsister then it is clearly in their best interests to continue to have contact with them. I don't like the judge in this matter as he does appear not to be following what is necessary. My personal opinion, is that you should get in contact with the head of Children's Services in your area and ask them for the name of the social worker that has been associated with this case(even if one leaves, then another one would be assigned the case).

I think you need to also look into formal legal advice on this issue because as you now have parental responsibility you might be eligible for legal aid.

i have spoken to the social worker he tells us children should be with mother but is reluctant to say this in court ( he said to me that he will not say this until asked by the judge) he has resigned from his position and i think this case is why

For the mother, it might be worth contacting an organisation that I know of called Justice for Families: http://www.justice-for-families.org....ic/contact.php

For yourself you would have to apply to the courts in the jurisdiction where the original judgement was made, unfortunately.
If the social worker has resigned then someone else WILL have been assigned to the case and you need to find out who.

              I do think the Family Rights Group could well be of help (as link above, post 9);

              http://www.frg.org.uk/need-help-or-advice)

If your family is involved with local authority children's services, or you need help from these services, our new interactive web-pages will give you the information you need.
Leclerc may have initially dismissed that link thinking it was to Families Need Fathers

http://www.fnf.org.uk/ - which, now I come to think of it, also may be able to give you valuable advice.

All the very best, anyway :tinysmile_kiss_t4: x

I like the interactive stuff except the bit where it states that if the child is with social services that the decision is a shared one on parental responsibility(cos in reality, social services ask your opinion and do whatever they want anyway ).
