  • Re-claiming unfair Bank charges plus financial hardship.

In 2007 I initiated two cases against Nat West and Lloyds Banks to reclaim unfair bank chanrges, going back some 6 years prior. After the High Court ruled in favour of the OFT in May 2008 I dropped my cases as I was advised, at the time, that I would be unsuccessful in the courts. Without interest, the sum of the claims is £9,938.
Following the recent case at Taunton C C where Oliver Foster-Burnell successfully won his case, I now intend to re-open my cases and re-apply to the banks for full re-imbursement.

Am I correct in thinking that, since my cases are as yet un-answered, and in view of the recent Taunton case, I will be able to do this, even though they are now older than 6 years? I can prove financial hardship.

Any advice much appreciated. Thank you.
