I'm not sure ... but you might be able to appeal the original parking ticket too (our parking expert [MENTION=5354]mystery1[/MENTION] will be able to advise you on that next time he's on

It would also be a good idea to contact Jacobs (in writing) to find out what charges have been applied up to now (and see if we can get them reduced due to no prior correspondence)
Send any letters recorded/signed for (costs less than £2 for first class). Save any sent/received emails etc....
