I would like to say a massive thanks for everybody's help and support. Following on from the letter I sent them I yesterday got the following reply from Mortimer Clark;

thank you for your correspondence dated ..Jan 16.

we have been instructed by our clients to discontinue proceedings and close our file. As such, please find enclosed a copy of the notice of discontinuance by way of service upon you.

the discontinuance was for all of the claim.

i guess they didn't have any paperwork, thanks again and I had an excellent sleep last night. You guys are stars and I can't thank @Amethyst and everyone else enough for all your help. A very grateful Pjays.

My name and address is on a seperate piece of paper but appears to be part of the agreement . The T&C 's for the opening for the opening of this account seem to be attached , would the T&C's for closing be included in this as well ?

I'm a bit miffed as I thought I had put this to bed as I filed a defence back in Nov 2014 and never heard anything
