  • Wajam ?

Last couple days I've noticed an odd Wajam thing on my FF Google. Presumably something one of the kids has clicked on and changed ? or is it actually a new google thing (seems to link ad's to facebook / twitter recommendations ??) Just keeps showing me adverts for envelope suppliers.... bit odd, especially when I had searched bbc news lol.

so just going to remove it using their instructions

    How to remove / uninstall:
    On Windows:

Here are two ways to remove Wajam from your computer using Windows.
    Wajam Uninstaller

    Open "Start" menu
    Select "All Programs"
    Open the Wajam folder
    Click "Uninstall"

    Windows Control Panel

    Open "Start" menu
    Click on "Control Panel"
Click "Programs" > "Add/Remove" or "Uninstall"
    Select "Wajam"
    Right-Click and select "Uninstall"

Chrome Extension (when installed from the Chrome Webstore only)

    Open the Chrome browser
    Click the Tools menu"
    Select Extensions
    Click Disable or Uninstall

    Re: Wajam ?

I believe Wajam gets installed through Super Finder, an otherwise excellent Windows search program. But yes, it IS malware and for those who used the Wajam uninstaller, I would do a regedit and search your registry for remains of the program. Wajam caused all kinds of problems on my PC and after uninstalling I found numerous leftover entries in the registr

I'm glad I use an Opera browser ... seems like this only installs on IE, Firefox, Google Chrome etc....
