A bailiff cannot enter through a window nor climb a fence to gain access. They can only enter through an unlocked door.

Oh I thought if the window was open/on catch it could class as entry has all that changed?

Since the regulations changed in April 2014, bailiffs can only get in via a "usual means of entry" (so unless you usually get into your house through a window, they can't either) :tinysmile_twink_t2:

That's good news, thank you, it's still going to feel like being in prison for a while but at least I can have my windows on the catch, thank you

Excellent. I notice Milo's intervention in post 28 when she remarked the notice was defective, might this be the lady in question? It's OK to name her Was the notice of enforcement addressed by the Andrew Wilson?

In that case all starts again. I wonder if Andrew Wilson's have learned from this - I doubt it - until the next time.

To be fair....there are a lot of enforcement companies that are not adhering the the correct 'notice' period on the Notice of Enforcement.

The regs are quite clear :

                          6. (1) Subject to paragraph (3), notice of enforcement must be given to the debtor not less than 7 clear days before the enforcement agent takes control of the debtor’s goods.

                          (2) Where the period referred to in paragraph (1) includes a Sunday, bank holiday, Good Friday or Christmas Day that day does not count in calculating the period.

It's really quite hard to misinterpret those.
