      1. Suitable place for a child of that age.
      2. Washing machine or way to wash cloths
      3. Food in cupboard suitable for a child
      4. Stable home environment.
      5. Ability to parent.

as the others that have had experience with the SS will tell, be open and honest with them, but be very carfull... let your solicitor advise you about the meeting.
Got those all checked off. Slight issue with damp that I reckon they will question. meh.

      Careful in what way?

Unfortunately they can trip you up over the slightest thing - keep notes, record all contact if you can. Query everything, ensure your views are expressed in a favourable light.

Yes. Be carful they dont try and trip you up with the questions they ask. But. Dont be 2 worried things worked out for us many years ago. Sort of similar curcumstances. All social workers will be a bit edgy around kids at the mo becauae of whats gone on at rotherham and other ss depts in the past 5 years.

Kati, challenging SS and making complaints can be a lot harder than you can imagine. I think at the moment what Saccadic is read all of the PDF's you've posted and if they do not understand even on part of it, then ask questions and hopefully we can answer especially us weirdo's who have had dealings with those idiot SS workers....
Follow all the advice but be aware that they will looks potentially at everything(even stuff you might say to your doctor's).
To be honest, I'd stalk em all on facebook(but that is just weirdo me ).

I'll try and keep them on side at the moment and maybe complain when things are in motion a bit more. Definate case for maladministration as I have raised concerns with social before about her drinking and violence with our child in the house. There have also been previous incidents involving the police, plus all the delays, failure to provide information, broken promises etc. Safety first and reducing the alienation between father and daughter.
