Your comment on this please M1......
As of the 1st October 2012 the Protection of Freedom Bill comes into force. Within this bill is a schedule which allows for private parking companies like Parking Eye to harass the owner of a car for tickets not paid by the driver.
The registered keeper can now (from October 1st) be held liable for charges if they don’t know who was driving and can’t provide an address.

Should I just email them now and dispute it? I'm lost again

The only way it'll effect a credit rating is if it goes to court, you lose AND you don't pay within 28 days of a court judgement. In short, it won't.

Ok, so I'll hang fire and await a letter from them like we discussed earlier in the thread. And then proceed with letter from Paul as RK..

They can't send a notice to keeper until 28 days after the notice to driver was given. They then get 28 days to have given the notice to keeper to the keeper.

                              Hi,

So it arrived, letter with photo of my car...now, do I send the letter you suggested? As from Paul (partner) or the template one? Thank you

                                Dear sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver did not see any signs and in any event your charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not do so.

Should you reject my challenge please supply a popla code.

                                Yours etc

Then appeal such as http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...-Appeal-Letter or http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...-Appeal-Letter . You will need to remove any section on anpr as yours was a windscreen ticket.

It does work http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...pany-victories (hasn't been updated with many later wins but there is little change in results)
