Re: Hi
I am currently in confrontation with Newlyn PLC.
They use unlawful and underhand tactics, so be on your guard.
If you have a garage, lock your car in it if not in use.
If you haven't got a garage, park somewhere unobtrusive.
Keep copies of all letters sent or received.
Ask for a breakdown of charges.
Bailiff charges are as follows
Compliance Stage (usually first letter) ............................................... £75.00
Enforcement Stage .............................................£235. 00
Sale & Disposal (Of Goods Seized) .................................................. £110.00
So by my reckoning, as they have yet to seize anything the £110.00 charge would not appy.
So the total outstanding would be £300.00 plus the penalty charge as it stands.
So if my maths are correct, the outstanding penalty would be £244.04
I would certainly question this........
Where did they get the odd 4 pence from?
You could write to the court requesting a variation or stoppage on the warrant.

Re: Hi
I'm assuming this is a PCN. If it has gone to the TEC you need to file a Stat Dec out of time. Phone the number below and ask for the forms. This will roll back the clock for the time being and should stop enforcement action. Inform the bailiffs you've filed this, as well as the LA.
The respondent must send to the Centre –
(1) a completed application notice (form PE 2 may be used for applications relating to statutory declarations and form TE 7 may be used for applications relating to witness statements); and
(2) a completed –
(a) statutory declaration in form PE 3; or
(b) witness statement in form TE 9.
(Forms PE 2, PE 3, TE 7 and TE 9 can be obtained from the Centre at Northampton County Court, Bulk Centre, 21/27 St. Katharine's Street, Northampton NN1 2LH. (Telephone number: 08457 045007))
If it hasn't, you need to get a detailed breakdown of fees as mentioned above.
