They've added an LB RSS feed to the sidebar:

    HTML Code:
    <aside id="rss-2" class="widget widget_rss"><h1 class="widget-title"><a class='rsswidget' href='http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/external.php?type=rss2' title='Syndicate this content'><img style='border:0' width='14' height='14' src='http://www.ppi-claims-scotland.co.uk/wp-includes/images/rss.png' alt='RSS' /></a>

        Re: have you seen this

They've had that on for ages, it's our RSS feed, we're fine with sites using our RSS feed - it's what it is there for - there are a couple others have it amongst others, names of which which escape me right now. We don't have anything to do with the site though, and hadn't even considered it might look like we endorsed them. We do get quite a few links through to the site from there so we were thinking it was really taking the opposite effect and sending people to a self help forum rather than paying for PPI services.

Obviously if there is any problem with that site let us know and we'll reconsider whether to contact the webmaster.

Actually looking at it looks like they have had a bit of a site redesign, used to be a bit crappy.

                  Re: have you seen this

                  HI

the google linky spooky stuff, values a site like yours very highly, lots of users, lots of visits, lots of new material, and older material re-read by users....

So when google see a site like theres, and reads the link to you, it benefits that site in the google rankings much more than yours. Thats why sites like that put rss links up, And i link out from legal beagles to a site, is of very high value to the site

I've taken the link off the first post.

It's not benefited them too much, they are 2,500,000th in the world and we're 56000th ish. They don't rank in the UK and we're 1700th..... so failed.

When you look at this page: http://www.donotlink.com/pk8 (I've used do not link to avoid helping their rankings) it seems to be the product of an online translator rather than a human being writing it.
Payment Protection Insurance (PPI), this is the word that many people are unknowing, till a person harmed of it. Worst still many people don’t even understand clearly that they have been defraud till it’s late. Payment Protection Insurance is a security, if in case a person is unable to pay amount ones debt. But pensioners, students & self-employed persons are not do something to cover this PPI. Further it is much difficult to calculate the correct estimate of payment protection insurance (PPI). Hence mis-sold PPI has become a corpse issue. However now also it is possible to make your PPI claims in Scotland. The most necessary thing is to look for a good and qualified legal profession who can guarantee success in the PPI claims. There are a few things needs to be considering when come nearer to a company to claim your PPI in Scotland.

Interesting digging around, found that name and address related to a defunkt/news/pr website as well from 2012..... nothing interesting though, looked like a site relying on add revenue, by publishing others news

Is it possible they are not the same company? Maybe the site in question is a spoof/clone of a legitimate site. :confused2: The domain is registered in India and they are using Google online translation to write the text on the site, how can it be legitimate? :mmph::rolleyes2:
