  • Advice on faulty car

    Hi all,

I purchased a car from a local dealer not 10 days ago now and it has since broken down twice and been unable to start, requiring the aa to tow it twice. Surely the car is not fit for purpose and I have some rights to ask for my money back?

The he first time it wouldn't start it was towed back to the garage who 'fixed' it yet only 5 days later the car was unable to start again.

The dealer has has offered to repair it again but I don't trust the car anymore and would like my money back. To which he replied he would buy it off me for substantially less that what I paid.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,

The dealer has had a fair chance to remedy any defects in the vehicle. I would reject the car. You will find the link below helpful:
