    IS this and assured sgorthold tenancy or do you live on the premises?

      No I don't live on the premises, short 6 month lease.

        Assuming this is an assured shorthold tenancy, which is the most common type of private tenancy, you us s.21 (Section 21 of the Housing Act 1988) which gives you automatic right of possession at the end of the fixed period, without the need for any grounds for possession. You can use s.21 provided your tenant's deposit is protected. You need to give at least 2 months written notice to your tenants. See attached. :grin:
