  • BT - bogus orders

Has anyone had, or heard of, an instance in which a bogus BT order for services has been placed in their name (for their number and address, not somewhere different)?

this is known as slamming and is illegal.

What happens is, a provider requests the line without your permission and takes over, ask so speak to your providers anti slamming team

      Thanks.

I recently switched my telephone away from BT, only to discover that I had apparently changed my mind and placed an order with BT for a different, and more expensive, service.

Obviously a slamming fraud by a member of BT staff (on commission, no doubt).
