  • Capital One and PPI

Hi first post in a long time so please be gentle... I am looking for some advice please regarding my old closed Cap1 card... I am trying to find out if I was paying any kid of PPI or card cover, additional insurance that I would not of been aware of. The account is paid off in full and closed for about 4 years plus, but I am having difficulty when contacting the company as they have no record of me with it being so long ago. Could one of you lovelys point me in the right direction of a template letter that I could send to capital one, oh and the address to send it to if poss, I have my old account numbers but cant see anything on any of the old statements re ppi. Many thanks.

They have to keep records for at LEAST 6 YEARS AFTER ACCOUNT CLOSED, UNDER MONEY LAUNDERING (IRONING) RULES AND tAX OFFICE REGS ETC ETC ETC, send a SAR request with £10.00 quoting account number etc.?
