  • Sexual harrasment Letter - Telelphone harrasment

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I got issued by police notice for sexual HARRASMENT about 2 years ago and from my point of view this is a wrong accusation

and police officer said If I ever contact the lady in question again I'll be arrested........

I want to clear my name -- Help me please ???????????????????????????

    ---
The Lady in question was a old of friend of mine

We talk on the phone many times............................

I've asked her out many times

I've been of help many times, much like an acquaintance

Havent spoken for a while, phoned him one day but no response

The next thing I got a rude knock on my door one evening police asking for my name, in which I replied

They read out a notice to me and part of the conversation was "I perform sexual act while on the phone to her"

police handed me a piece of papper, I denied the sexual harrasmet allegation instantly and refused to accept
    the piece of papper

They went out came back and said their supervisor said they have to leave the piece of paper at the property
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My Question is - How does police arrive at the conclusion to issue someone a sexual harrasment letter ?

I'll like to fight this case all the way and if it will end up in court so be it- I want to clear my name

And I want to sue this Lady for false allegation and legal cost

I'm yet to go back to the police to deny this issue since

    please advice me

I think you are best to seek advice from a legal professional before going back to the police. Making a false report to the police is a criminal offence in itself. Making false allegations against another is also a criminal offence. Making false allegations against another which result in action being pursued against that other person is a very serious criminal offence.

The questions I would ask you are as follows -

    1. Have the police previously spoken to you about these allegations?
    2. Have you been the subject of an injunction granted under Section 3, Protection from Harassment Act 1997?
    3. Have you received a Court Form PF39CH bearing a court stamp?

Answers to these questions will enable a more focused response to be given.
Life is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.
