  • Motormile finance...should i let them take me to court?

I have been getting phone cals, texts and e-mails from this bunch for a few weeks now without knowing who they were or what they were after, now i know they are trying to get payment for a debt which was covered by a debt relief order taken out last year.
My question is should i string them along and let tham take me to court for a debt that doesn't exist or should i put my time and effort into letting them know they are wasting there time?...i must admit i rather like the idea of them wasting there time on this and leaving some other poor soul alone.

You should inform them of the correct legal position regarding this debt asap, however tempting the alternative may be. :beagle:

i have e-mailed them and told them the debt was part of a debt relief order and if they have purchased this debt from Mr Lender more fool them.
I have also requested that they no longer phone or text me and if they require further imformation they should consult the insolvency service.
I hve also informed them that any doorstep visitor attending my property will be reported to my local boys in blue as tresspassing.
I trust my e-mail to them will get them off my back.
