      I haven't looked at the CAG link, but this is a situation that often arises on this site.
      I would suggest a letter to Dwf, denying all liability for asda's costs as these are part of their operating costs. Refer them to the Oxford case http://www.farrarsbuilding.co.uk/cms...-v-B-K_001.pdf

          This company would mug a pensioner to save their clients a few pence. Use them if you have no morals and give up if their the other side.
