            Re: Very catalogue debt

Hi all. Need advice again. Basically done all I can. Still getting statements every month from Very. They've ignored the last 2 recorded letters I've sent. Told them that seeing as they never sent my OSCA and ignored my letters and also refuse to discuss my account when I call, the account is now in dispute. Not paid them since March. But still I'm receiving statements asking for payment and they're still adding charges and defaults. Feel like I'm invisible. They're so rude! What do I do next? Do I carry on witholding payments? Do I try contacting them again? Or do I just ignore them aand try go for statute barred? Greatful for any input x

do as I di pay £1.00 or whatever, keep a spreadsheet of all charges etc , they tend to stop interest and you decrease amount slowly. worked so far for me and the charges are adding up to-wards any claim!

                Re: Very catalogue debt

This one I sent to them because they ignored all contact and tried to insist phone them (which I did not) amend to suit and send and see what happens just pay what you can afford, their site will stop you signing in eventually, but go to Impact services Their inhouse DCA and sign in there and make a payment as and when.

                Note what was sent:-

This is the 3rd time I have sent this actual e-mail:- would you act in a professional manner and stop acting like children, it is un-professional the way you are not responding and in fact creating a situation which is unnecessary.:-
Do you agree to stop charges and interest and possible review in 6 Months? @ £xx.xx per month per se. If failure to have a response from you within 7 days it will be assumed that you agree forthwith.

                  Re: Very catalogue debt

Hi thanks for the reply. I did tell them in my last letter that I've taken note they're ignoring all my correspondance and calls. I also stated that they will not get another penny until they supply the OSCA and the account is therefore in dispute until I receive that agreement. That was 27th April and I've heard nothing. I was paying token payments of £50 a month but decided to stop coz they're being total asses about the whole thing inc refusing to talk to me when I called. They said they couldn't talk to me or do anything until I went through a debt management.

                    Hello everyone
I stopped paying Very as they were being unfair and being a bunch of total asses.
So this morning I get this letter saying my account is being passed to NDR but they're still shop direct right?
should I still ignore everything they send and not pay?
                    Thanks guys in advance

NDR is Very (shop direct) yes. ignore if you have a dispute then that is your reason, they will eventually sell to Capquest no doubt who you would inform a dispute in existance

they like vanquis are the pits when it comes to e-mail complaints = no answer just ring us to feed our monkeys.

Yep - Nationwide Debt Recovery (NDR) are a Shop Direct Company - it looks like they're an inhouse debt collection agency :tinysmile_twink_t2:

I can't advise on what you should do - but I'm sure someone will be along soon!

Very are refusing to accept that I have raised a dispute. Keep saying they've dealt with it and I should go to the ombudsman. I haven't bothered replying. Gonna try go for statute barred.

if you made a formal complaint and they responded in the last paragraph that it was their final response, then ombudsman it is?

I have received a letter from
NDC now. They've said 'pay up or we'll get a black blob next to your name and you won't get credit for 6 years.
Thats the best they can come up with?????
im ignoring them still and still opting statute barred.

What should I do about this one?
its been going on for a year now. They agreed that it's Unenforceable.
They have no original signed credit agreement.
So what do I do about this?
