But refusing to attend appointments which are a requirement simply means that your own failure to co-operate is on record and completely undermines any case you may bring. You aren't at all likely to find any lawyer who will represent an unco-operative claimant. As fuzzybrain has suggested, if you distrust them because you believe that they will change information, take someone with you who can act as an independant witness to what was said and done.
    Thanks for your concern :-P hehe but seriously, as a human being I can't tollerate it. I know you think me foolish, and i understand. But you have to understand that some people actually would be prepared to die for their freedom. An like i said before, taking someone wouldnt make a blind bit of diff, they probably changed my answers much later on.

        No ones calling you a nutter, Eloise is giving you the best advice available and for free.
        I do appreciate all the info people have given me, i really do, but with all due respect, how am I supposed to do all this when I very rarely leave the house? I'm going to do my best of course, but its only just hitting me just how **** the legal system is (pardon my french) If i seem a little tense at times, you must forgive me. I'm just under a little bit of stress at the moment.

The solicitors i spend two days trying to find were all advertised as welfare rights solicitors, now cmon? You can't exist in a corrupt system without being corrupt yourself. But you probably know all this anyway, you probably know all about maritime admarilty law and how we're all conned. How we're all being bought and sold on the stock market? You said it yourself, its all about the money. Well when it becomes more about money than the actual law and the welfare of the people, then it is inherantly corrupt
            And that isn't a conspiracy theory? You have no cause or evidence to say that they refused to consider you as a client because they are corrupt. That is a serious and nasty allegation to make.

            By the way - I have bills to pay too, so do not dare to say that it is more about money than anything else - that is not and never has been true for me or for many of my colleagues. But we are not charities and do not provide our services free to all comers - otherwise it would be us who were starving. If your soapbox is more important to you than listening to advice, the feel free to rant.

            I was trying to help you. But I'm out. Being a "corrupt lawyer" you wouldn't want any help from me.

                No. Go to the medical. Do your best to appear a clueless victim. Hope that they fall for it and alter the answers again.

                      People are dying because of the DWP and ATOS, and no solicitor is prepared to take them on??? Doesn''t that seem a little odd to you???
                      Oh I have plenty of proof that the system is corrupt, and if that's such a serious and nasty allegation then I expect I'll be getting sued then? Well I'd gladly share the evidence in court. But then there'd be no point really, I mean, what are you going to sue me for? I have no money, and you're welcome to my knackered dvd player and 4 year old laptop.
                      And if you're such a good solicitor why did you use the expression "Cconpiracy Theorist?" It was one of the first things you said. It's a very well known way of trying to put someone down, to make them look stupid, you know, the tin foil hats etc? So tell me, why do such a thing to someone who was obviously in some distress? Sure, I'll get off my soap box, as soon as you come down off your pedestal.

                        You,,my friend,have royally shot yourself in the foot.
                        Eloise is not on a pedastal spouting crap...she freely and without any ulterior motive offered you advice,and it didn't cost you a penny.
                        You insulted her by declaring all lawyers are corrupt,and that was rude and uncalled for.
                        By all means,don't attend any more interviews (personally I wouldn't dream of attending one that wasn't recorded either covertly or in the open) but you will lose out,and if you are entitled to benefits due to ill health,you should claim them.I know we are all being expected to jump through the ATOS hoops,thats the price we are paying for RavyDavy & co being in Goverment.
                        Bang the drum by all means,,but don't kick sand in the face of those trying to help,,sadly the truth isn't always what we like to hear.

                            1. Forget about Freeman On The Land theories. They don't work;
                            2. The DWP employee who changed the answers you had given not only committed fraud, he/she also potentiallly committed forgery;
                            3. If you know how the law works, you can make it work to your advantage;
                            4. Justice is there. It is a case of standing up for it and not giving in.
                            5. Yes. We know there is corruption in the system, but by exposing it, bringing it out into the public arena and embarrassing those who are allowing it to flourish, it will be overcome and stamped out;
                            6. Never say never;
                            7. Never give up.

                            I have found out myself just how corrupt, incompetent and mind-bogglingly stupid the DWP and ATOS can be. Ask your MP to obtain forms for referring the matter to the Parliamentary Ombudsman should this become necessary.
                            Thanks for that bluebottle :-)

                              I have come across this sort of thing many times. Every local solicitor mysteriously becomes unavailable when a case against the Local Authority is offered to them (or the client is taken on, but then advised to roll over and die, even though the case is a winner).
